Tasting - Lobetia Tempranillo

Name: Lobetia Tempranillo
Variety: Tempranillo
Region: La Mancha
Country: Spain
Year: 2011
Price: $9.95
Wine Review: Organically and naturally grown and made, this wine allows the varietal and terroir to stand out cleanly. It shows an nice cherry color with a violet shade because of its youth. Red berries and cherries on the nose. On the palate it is fresh, slightly astringent, and harmonious with a long finish.
My Review: This wine has a medium red color. It smelled very fruity with strong hints of cherry. It also had a slightly rooty scent. This wine had a cherry taste with hints of root flavors. You could taste the tannins in this wine. I did not really like this wine.
Food: I did not taste this wine with food.
